privacy policy

This policy covers the Wanci iPhone app and this website, wanci.ihsanfir.dev. Both are made by Ihsan Firdaus, an independent developer. In short, Wanci has no account, no ads and no analytics, and it does not collect your data.
what the app stores, and where
Everything you make in Wanci stays with you: your saved timers, running timers, the log of days kept, your streak, and your settings. It is stored on your device. Wanci has no servers of its own and never sends this data to us.
If you turn on iCloud sync, the same data is also stored in your own private iCloud database, operated by Apple under your Apple ID. Only you can read a private database. The developer cannot see, read, or recover it. Sync can be turned off in the app's settings, and the data can be removed with the app's own delete controls or by deleting the app and its iCloud data from your iPhone's iCloud settings.
what we do not collect
- No account or sign-in. We never ask for a name, email address, or phone number.
- No analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not know how, when, or whether you use the app.
- No crash reporting. Diagnostics reach us only if you choose to share them with Apple and Apple forwards them.
- No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
- No location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera access. The app does not ask for them.
This is why Wanci's App Store privacy label says "Data Not Collected".
notifications
Wanci asks for notification permission when you start your first timer. Notifications are scheduled locally, on the device, so a timer can ring when the app is closed. They are marked time-sensitive so they can reach you inside Focus modes. No notification passes through a server, and nothing about them is reported to us.
purchases
Wanci Pro is sold through Apple's App Store as an in-app purchase. Apple processes the payment and holds your billing details. We never see them. To confirm that a purchase is valid and unlock the app, Wanci uses RevenueCat, a purchase-validation service. RevenueCat receives an anonymous, randomly generated app user ID, your App Store purchase receipt and transaction data, and basic device information such as the iOS version. It does not receive your name, email address, or Apple ID. RevenueCat's handling of this data is described in its privacy policy. This is the only third party that receives any data from the app.
this website
wanci.ihsanfir.dev is a static site. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and embeds nothing from advertising networks. The hosting provider that serves it may keep ordinary server logs (such as the requesting IP address and the page requested) for security and operations, as any web host does. We do not use those logs to identify you.
children
Wanci is rated 4+ and collects no data from anyone, including children. There is no account to create, no content to submit, and no way to contact other users.
your rights
We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete. Your data is already under your control, on your device and in your iCloud. If you believe we hold something anyway, write to us and we will look.
changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with an updated date at the top. A change that meant the app started collecting data would also change the App Store privacy label and would be announced in the app's release notes.
